10,000 Steps Walking Program Tuesday June 5, 2007 10:30am-12:30pm at the Franklin Public Library

Walking is one of the best forms of exercise. When done correctly, walking provides many health benefits-both physical and mental. Have you heard that you should walk 10,000 steps a day for optimal health? It seems like quite a distance!

In this FREE program, Crystale Lind Exercise Specialist at Wheaton Franciscan discusses the many benefits of walking, correct form and how to use a pedometer to count the steps. A pedometer will be provided at no charge to all participants. To REGISTER for this FREE program call the library at 414-425-8214 or stop by the Circulation Desk.
