FESTIVAL FOODS
Thursday, August 7, 2008
(11am-1pm or 6pm-8:30pm)
Why fight the crowds when you can stay right at home and prepare the foods that make festivals so much fun, because after all, it’s all about the food (and who needs all that exercise to distract you from the main objective). I'll prepare Homemade Corn Dogs, Blooming Onions and Deep-fried Cheese Curds, both served with Remoulade Sauce, Walking Tacos, State Fair Cream Puffs and Funnel Cakes. You'll receive recipes for all your "sticked" favorites such as Pork Chop-on-a-stick, Deep Fried Pickle-on-a-stick and Deep Fried Twinkies-on-a-stick. Plus, Catfish Nuggets, Deep Fried Snickers, Battered Ranch Fries and Pickled Polish Sausage.
