If you are planning on attending the Olympics in Beijing...be warned...streaking will not be tolerated.

But you probably knew that already.

Beijing has advised spectators of a list of items that should not be brought to the Olympics, and high on the list is banners.

Even a banner such as Go, China! will not be permitted ...

"We advise that you do not bring banners of any kind to the Games because we must create a fair play environment for the athletes from all countries," Huang Keying, deputy director of spectator services division at the Beijing Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (BOCOG), told a news conference.

"The kind of banner with "Go China!" on it would be unfair for athletes from other countries."

Umbrellas will be permitted as the Chinese are not particularly fond of sun bathing.

Personally, if I were attending the Olympics in China, I would read all of the rules very carefully....

The Answer....Turning A Blind Eye

The Question?

What do many in the world believe China is doing regarding the repression Tibetans have suffered under their rule?

Officials from China took a group of journalists on a tour of Tibet to show them areas damaged by Tibetan rioters. After the journalists entered a temple, a group of crying monks told them their side of the story.  They were very afraid for their safety and told reporters that they were being locked up and treated unfairly.  They said, “We don’t have freedom! We just want freedom!”

The Olympic torch relay has begun.

It is supposed to be a symbol of peace and unity.

It is supposed to be non-political.

It will not be that way for this, the 2008 Olympics in China.

This Olympics will be filled with protests the entire way from those who would want China to "free Tibet."

And, that, is a good thing.

But protests must stay peaceful; non-violent.

After all...the protesters must remember the reason they are protesting.

The Olympic torch relay that's supposed to symbolize peace and world unity is
instead turning into a parade of protest across London.

This is the scene live, where a huge security operation has been launched,
but protesters angry about the Chinese crackdown in Tibet have managed to disrupt the procession.

Activists disrupt Paris Olympic flame relay - police react with violence.
The flame goes to San Francisco tomorrow….
China shielding their people from the truth about protests.
