Culinary no-no #7

Since Festa Italiana is on the lakefront this weekend, the ethnic festival has inspired this week’s culinary no-no:

Pizza at Festa Italiana.

Now before you start screaming at your computer, I am not being sacriligious. I am sure the pizza at Festa is da besta.

Ayyyy, I am merely suggesting that you can have pizza anytime.

Whatsamattayou? Don’t be afraid to expand your culinary horizons.

Try the Italian beef or meatball sandwiches, shrimp scampi, panini’s, lasagna, calamari, marinated octopus salad.

Put some excitement into your trip to Festa. Be adventurous, bold, daring.

Try something else. You might like….hell, you might love it!

Note: the above suggestion also applies to brats at German Fest and tacos at Fiesta Mexicana.

PREVIOUS CULINARY NO-NO’S

1) Ketchup on a brat
2) Green peppers on pizza
3) The dirty martini
4) Fruity brats
5) A Bloody Mary after dinner
6) Women “manning” the grill
