The Dems and infanticide

By Kevin Fischer
Monday, Feb 18 2008, 07:26 PM
Columnist, author and blogger Phil Harris writes a blistering piece on how Americans, especially Democrats have lost their nerve, unwilling to stand up and fight a war against those who spend every waking moment plotting to kill us.

Harris is blunt.

Harris is correct.

Whether you say it precisely this way or not, the following is what you have purchased, in essence, as the wisdom of enlightened thinking: “F…” Bush, the “moron who lied” and now the “soldiers have died”, and “he did it for the oil to make his rich oil buddies even richer” and “he did it because Saddam tried to kill his father.” So, despite the unified resolve we all felt and thought on that infamous September day, just seven years ago, the truth of the matter reveals that a large number of America’s people haven’t the intestinal fortitude to stand for anything. The fatigue of having our sons, daughters, nephews, nieces, mothers, fathers, co-workers, friends, and neighbors engaged in a very real war has a great many hollering uncle.

May I say that such a turn of thinking is just plain ignorant? Does that make you angry, that I might challenge your lack of stamina and scold you for it?”

Then Harris lays out the truths about the war in Iraq, truths that liberals like Russ Feingold who want to raise the white flag and skedaddle will never grasp.

On Tuesday, thousands of Wisconsinites will vote for either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton. Harris, in the same piece about the war, manages to also appropriately segue into Obama’s and Clinton’s total disregard for human life, both supporters of abortion on demand.

Here’s Harris’ blog about delusional Democrats who get all warm about infanticide.

Yes, it’s true. They do.

Hmm, very well written.  I'd love to hear some of the regular lefties that comment on your blog, to read this and defend this position.

Obama inspires hope....brings people together.....all EMOTIONS...guess that emotion doesn't carry over to partial birth abortions.

Hillary...well, let's have those abortions through socialized medicine.  By the time your turn comes up...it will be a partial birth abortion.

WOW!!! I didn't know that they're people still defending this war!!!

I guess I need to venture out of my beloved 'Stallis a little more............

BTW, I always ask the chicken hawks out there - "What branch did you serve in???" I was in the Navy myself........

"Delusional Democrats" you say??? Well...........I'm not a Dem., but we ARE voting for Obama today.........should we check into Rogers Memorial???

Steve's comment reminds me of another blog of yours a week or so ago...

"I'm not a Dem, but I'm voting for Obama."

What is with these liberals who don't want to be called liberal, democrats don't want to be called democrats, What is the deal?

Own who you are and what you believe in people!!!  Good grief.  At least you will "feel good" after you vote today.   ((shaking my head))

KAREN123,

Why do Republicans get so hung up on party affiliation??? Who cares?!?! When's the last time party affiliation made a difference anyways.........People vote for who they like.

I own everything that I do and say, including voting for Obama.

Hey, is this "infanticide" a new Republican term for abortion???

I remember suicide bombers being renamed "homicide bombers" and French fries being renamed "freedom fries" by the Republicans..........

I'll feel good in November after Obama wins!!! ((shaking my head up-n-down))

Steve.

Janet,

I totally forgot to acknowledge your thank you.

This is like the third time I've been thanked for being in the Navy. To tell you the truth - it makes me feel kinda weird. I went in 1993, and nothing happened!!! So, it's like being thanked for building a entire house, and all I did was hammer one nail in. Plus, I was only in for 5 months too. I got separated early for a medical discharge. They popped me for an ole' high school wrestling injury to my arm.

I only bring it up now to de-bunk the chicken hawks. My attitude is like "Hey man - if you're going to talk war - then put up or shut up". I may not have been in during a war - or for very long - but I didn't know that going in. I still joined up.............

So, thank you for your thank you!!!
