Class, your assignment today is to trash Sarah Palin

Academia in America is dominated by liberal philosophy in classrooms where liberal professors rule. Their job is to teach, not to indoctrinate or peddle their political views.

It’s an outrage when a professor in a taxpayer-supported institution assigns an essay to his students who are told to write negative papers about Sarah Palin.

An investigation is underway in Colorado.

Here’s more in this ABC video.

"Hallam assigned students to write about Palin, noting "her body language, facial expressions, the way she dressed, what she said and who she pointed out or talked about in her speech. How do these elements form a 'fairy tale' image about Sarah Palin as a person and as a politician that the Republican Party may wish its members and the American public to believe?"

Excellent question for a poli-sci class.

No, Josh.

An excellent question for a poli sci class should actually deal directly with government and politics and make students think.

This was a blatantly biased assignment.

By the way, Josh, a few weeks ago you wrote that you're going to vote for McCain. Based on your 100% negative commentary about Republicans and McCain/Palin and not a single negative word about the Messiah, I find that hard to believe.

Josh, read carefully...  This was an ENGLISH class.

Also these students were on O'Reilly tonight.  The prof engaged in a debate and did argue the liberal point of view against these students.

That question deals directly with government, politics and would generate many thoughful responses from both sides of the political spectrum.

You do enough negative commentary on Obama for the both of us.

Very seldom have I commented negatively about McCain's politics.  I happen to agree more with McCain's platform than Obama's.  But I'm not going to sit back and get spoon fed the idea that Palin is a qualified candidate for the second in command.  That would be dishonest.  I lost my enthusiasm for the McCain campaign when he started letting the GOP base call the shots.  My hope is that McCain will stop this nonsense and move back to the center once he gets elected.
